What does a 1:1 session cost, and what happens in it?

A 30-minute 1:1 session with Ankit Gajera costs ₹799, and an extended 60-minute deep dive costs ₹1,499. Each session covers one specific problem — a portfolio, a screen that is not converting, a career decision — and ends with a written next step. Thirty minutes is short on purpose: one problem solved properly beats five discussed vaguely.

UI/UX design projects start at ₹40,000 and take 2–6 weeks depending on scope. Web design and development starts at ₹50,000 and takes 2–5 weeks. Both are quoted per project rather than hourly, after a conversation about what the work actually involves — a landing page and a twelve-screen product are not the same job.

How do I become a UX designer?

Becoming a UX designer takes a portfolio of three or four real problems solved end to end, not a certificate. Pick problems you can explain: what was wrong, what you tried, what you shipped, what changed. Learn one tool properly — Figma is the current default — and practise writing about your decisions, because most interviews test explanation rather than pixels.

Is Figma still worth learning?

Figma is still the industry default for interface design, and learning it remains worthwhile. It is where handoff, component libraries and team review actually happen, so fluency in it is assumed rather than impressive. The part worth investing in is components, variables and auto layout — the structural features that make a file survive changes — rather than plugins and shortcuts.

Which AI tools are actually useful for UI/UX design?

AI tools are most useful in UI/UX design for the work around the design rather than the design itself: writing and rewriting interface copy, generating placeholder content that is not lorem ipsum, summarising research notes, and producing first-draft code from a finished design. They are weakest at judgement — deciding what to build and what to cut still needs a person who has spoken to users.

What is vibe coding, and is it a real way to build things?

Vibe coding means describing what you want in plain language and letting an AI model write the code, steering by feel rather than by reading every line. It genuinely works for prototypes, internal tools and throwaway experiments. It is risky for anything handling money, personal data or authentication, where "it seems to work" and "it is correct" are different claims and only the second one matters.

Do you work with clients outside India?

Yes. Project work happens over email and video calls, and 1:1 sessions show every available slot in your own time zone alongside IST, so there is nothing to convert by hand. Payments are taken in Indian rupees through Razorpay, which accepts international cards. Sessions are scheduled in Indian Standard Time, so book one that falls inside a reasonable hour for you.
