The brief

COREX imports professional ceramic coatings from South Korea and sells them in India through detailing studios. They needed two things: a public website that explains three products clearly enough for a car owner to choose one, and a private system the team could use to issue, track and re-send a warranty certificate for every car they coat.

The certificate had to be something the customer could keep and show a future buyer. It also had to give COREX a full record of every coated car, including which cover was about to run out.

Constraints that shaped the build

  • Shared hosting, PHP only. The client was already on Hostinger shared hosting. No Node, no build step, no framework, no CMS. Plain PHP, MySQL, vanilla JavaScript and CSS.
  • Brand colours from physical packaging. The palette comes from the logo and the product boxes. The brand red measures 3.28:1 on the card surface, which fails WCAG AA for small text, so every accent has a separate, lighter "text-safe" variant.
  • Real personal data. Warranty records hold names, mobile numbers and vehicle registrations, which the Indian DPDP Act 2023 covers. Privacy had to be designed in, not added at the end.
  • Many customers have no email. A lot of car owners give only a mobile number. Delivery had to work on WhatsApp alone.
COREX homepage hero on desktop and mobile, with the headline "Core strength. Timeless protection." beside a photo of the three product kits. Caption: One square hero image the client can replace by dropping in a new file. No code change, no CMS.
The hero image sits beside the copy instead of behind it, so there is no text-safe zone to protect inside the artwork and no separate mobile crop to keep in step. The client changes it by overwriting one file, and the admin dashboard warns them if the new image is the wrong shape or too heavy.
